SLJ Airline Safety

The Air New Zealand safety videos were great but they arn't my favourite. My favourtite one is the Lego movie video from Turkish Airlines.

My top safety tips:

• When the belt sign glows, buckle your seat belt (you can wear your seat belt at all times).
• Make sure all electronics are set to airplane mode. All big electronics need to go with your luggage but small devices can be held.
• If the oxygen masks fall down put it on - put your own on before helping a child.

Starry Night poem

Walt create a replica of the Starry Night painting and write a poem about Matariki.

Although the class recreated their Starry Night on paper with paint, I found this difficult and recreated mine on a Google Drawing.

Bird: Oh no, it’s a cat! I don’t want to get eaten and see the inside of a cat’s tummy!

Cat: oooooooowwwwwwwwwwwww I want to to keep it because it’s so cute

Bird: PLease don’t hurt me! Back away slowly! If I fly away it will probably pounce, stay very still!
